The General Director of INP-HB, represented by the Deputy General Director, and his delegation will be visiting the University of Wuppertal

We have good news:

The General Director of INP-HB, represented by the Deputy General Director and his delegation have been visiting on Monday, May 14^th, 2018 the University of Wuppertal to start a cooperation between INP-HB (National Polytechnic Institute Houphouet-Boigny) of Yamoussoukro in Côte d’Ivoire and the University of Wuppertal in Germany!

A memorandum of understanding as well as a framework agreement have been signed.

A high-level-meeting between the President of the University of Wuppertal and the General Director of INP-HB has been held.

INP-HB is an Institute of Excellence in West-Africa with unique value to the fast-growing continent of Africa.

A concrete project to promote excellent young female scientists in developing countries has also been presented. This is a long-term cooperation involving iPAMS (Institute of Pure and Advanced Mass Spectrometry at the University of Wuppertal), a Department of Excellence led by Prof. Dr. Thorsten Benter and EDP (a PhD-Department of INP-HB) led by Prof. Dr. Benjamin Yao.

A research-meeting between three Ivorian young female-scientists and a selected research-group of iPAMS has taken place.
