when Dr. -Ing. Michel A. Aliman learned from his mother
that he was the sole heir of a piece a land
and an island in Côte d’Ivoire,
a vision was birthed:
“THE EXCELLENCE OF YOUNG WOMEN
WITH THE GOAL OF DEVELOPMENT”
(Dr.-Ing. Michel A. Aliman)
Visions mature with time and require conducive
circumstances and resources in order to be implemented
the vision became reality.
LAFMAAL (LA FONDATION MICHEL AIPBRI ALIMAN)
was founded by a team
in Yamoussoukro/Côte d’Ivoire
with the goal of:
PROMOTING THE EXCELLENCE OF
OUTSTANDING YOUNG FEMALE SCIENTISTS
IN AFRICAN COUNTRIES,
THOSE WHO ARE MORE LIKELY
TO BE DISADVANTAGED
IN THEIR PURSUIT OF EDUCATION
DUE TO SOCIOCULTURAL REASONS.
A FOUNDATION THAT STANDS BY THEIR SIDE
AND HELPS THEM BUILD ON THEIR POTENTIAL.
Grounded in Christian values and deep conviction
Dr.-Ing. Michel A. Aliman and his team
have since been working on building this vision. Through the
Promoting Female Education in Africa
this vision now has a home and a voice in the world.
